Poulsbo Lions Club
For more than 80 years, the Poulsbo Lions Club has been serving the North Kitsap community with dedication, compassion, and a hands‑on spirit of service. Established in 1942, the club continues to thrive today through its Noon Club and Evening Pride Branch (started in 2007), bringing together neighbors who want to make a meaningful difference.
Poulsbo Lions believe in kindness in action — when caring people roll up their sleeves to serve, communities grow stronger. Members support North Kitsap through a wide range of impactful projects, including:

Vision screening for children; eye exams and glasses for low-income adults; eyeglass recycling

Hearing aids recycling and assistance

Our Firehouse Garden, which provides fresh, organic produce to ShareNet Food Bank

Laundry assistance for neighbors in need through our Loads of Change service project

Adopt-a-Highway litter clean-up at Highway 3/305 interchanges

An annual free kids' Hooked on Fish fishing derby

American flag program, and family‑friendly community events

Support for Camp Leo, which is for kids with Type 1 diabetes.
The club meets weekly at Vinland Lutheran Church for fellowship, guest speakers, and for planning upcoming service activities. The Evening Pride Branch meets at 7 pm the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at Western Red Brewing on Jensen Way to offer a flexible option for members with different schedules.

The club's mission is rooted in the motto "We Serve," providing humanitarian aid, fostering community spirit, and ensuring 100 percent of public donations go directly to community projects.
